Sleeping Hannah....

Hannah was zonked out this morning!  She usually wakes up when we open her door, but this morning she was sound asleep dreaming baby dreams.

We gave Hannah a little travel pillow a couple weeks ago.  At first she was terrified of it and wanted nothing to do with it.  She would hand it to us when we put her to bed like she was telling us to get this thing out of her crib.  But it's growing on her and she's been snuggling up with it at night.  She usually sleeps the longway in her crib, but last night she decided to move around a little. :)

Some other interesting things Hannah's been doing:

- She has officially learned how to climb up the stairs this weekend.  Again, it was another thing she was absolutely terrified of before.  I think she took one too many tumbles off the bottom step and freaked herself out.  But this weekend we helped her climb all the way up and I'm now regretting it!  She wants to climb up the stairs all the time now!  I'll be cooking in the kitchen and look over to see her on the 4th or 5th step.  Might be time to get a baby gate for the bottom of the stairs now...

- Hannah's been working on her animal sounds.  Dogs are by far her favorite animal and she's constantly pointing at the window to look outside for the neighborhood dogs.  Sheep say "baaa", cows say "mooo", dogs say "woof woof", and rooster say something similar to "cockadoodle-doo".  Hannah has also started doing a very cute impression of a monkey complete with the "ooohhh oohhh" sound and her arms moving like a monkey.

- The words are just coming now for Hannah!  She tries to say lots of things and has been working on names.  I know I will miss some, but here are some of the words she's saying:  Dada, Mama, book, ball, bear, milk, all done, more, bye-bye, dog, hot dog, uh-oh, drink, shoes, baby, flower, mouse, diaper, duck.
