While we were in VA Beach for the wedding and reunion, we did actually find some time to head to the beach! Brian and I were very excited for Hannah to have her first experience with the sand and ocean.
First we laid out and worked on our tans. Hannah hasn't seen much sun since being born in Minnesota in the middle of winter.
Then we modeled our beach hat. Side note - I didn't realize the hat still has the size "S"
sticker on it smack in the middle of her forehead until after she had been wearing it all day!
Whooops!

We enjoyed watching the waves too! It was incredibly hot and humid the day we chose to go to the beach, so we didn't end up staying too long. But it was lots of fun seeing Hannah react to a new environment. And of course we had to go to the actual beach while we were in VB! :)
