Happy 1/2 Birthday, Hannah!

Hannah turned 6 months old today! We just can't believe how fast time is flying by now!


At 6 months old, here's what Hannah has been up to:

• She sleeps through the night (and has been for a couple months now). She goes to bed at 7 pm and sleeps until about 6:45 am when we wake her up for school. Sometimes she will wake up around 6:15ish but she just talks to herself in her crib until we come in. Or else she will fall back asleep.
• Hannah takes about 3 naps a day anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. She's still not really consistent about her nap times.
• Hannah does not use a pacifier anymore - she just snuggles up with her lovey (taggie blanket) and falls asleep on her own.
• Recently, she has started rolling over in her sleep and will sleep on her tummy.
• Hannah just moved down to eating only 4 times during the day. She gets a bottle at 7am before school and then breakfast of oatmeal cereal around 8 am at school after I drop her off (I don't have the time to feed her cereal before work). Then she gets another bottle and container of fruit at 11am, a bottle at 3 pm, rice cereal and a container of veggies for dinner at 6-6:15ish while we eat our dinner, and then her last bottle at 6:45 before bedtime.
• She loves to eat peaches, carrots, sweet potatoes, pears, and apples. Her least favorite food is green beans. We haven't fed her any mixed flavors of fruits and veggies yet.
• Hannah LOVES baths! She loves to splash around in the bathtub and has started to like sitting up in the bath.
• She can sit assisted, but not on her own yet. She does well sitting up with the boppy around her waist.
• She rolls over back to belly and belly to back.
• She talks/babbles a lot! Lots of ahhh and boooo sounds. We're working on Dada and Mama! :)
• She giggles and laughs when you kiss her belly, tell her she has stinky feet, or bounce her up and down.
• Hannah loves her feet - she will play and grab them.
• She loves playing with her toys, especially ones that make sound or play music.
• She likes her exersaucer and has learned how to play with most of the toys on it.
• She has starting smacking/hitting everything with her hand. It's really cute!
• She loves riding in the stroller and going on walks. She also loves to be outside (as long as it's not too hot!).
• She is wearing 6-9 month clothing - definitely 9 month size pants and shorts - she's got a big belly! We also just moved up to size 3 diapers.

We go for our 6-month check up and shots on July 7th - so I will be sure to update with her stats then! We just love our little girl so much and can't believe it's been 6 whole months since she's blessed our lives.
